Passive Nuclear Level Transmitter

TLT-PN-ET Series

The TLT-PN-ET Series Passive Nuclear Level Transmitter is a non-contact material level measurement system designed for monitoring bulk solids such as ash in hoppers and silos. The transmitter operates using Naturally Occurring Gamma Ray Sensing (NOGS) technology, which detects natural radiation emitted by materials without requiring artificial radioactive sources. This makes the instrument safer and easier to maintain compared to conventional nuclear level gauges. It is widely used in thermal power plants, dust collectors, and ash handling systems where reliable level monitoring is critical.

  • True non-contact measurement with no contact with the process material
  • No artificial radioactive source required, improving safety and compliance
  • Reliable measurement even at extremely high ash temperatures
  • Reduces valve operations and compressed air consumption in ash systems
  • Easy installation and maintenance without drilling the hopper wall
